IES Biogas opens a new branch in Serbia
IES Biogas opens a new branch in Serbia. This is an important step in the internationalization plan that the company, which specializes in the design, construction and maintenance of biogas and biomethane plants in the waste, food & beverage and agricultural sectors, started in 2015.
Serbia is a country where IES Biogas has been carrying out ambitious projects: it has already built 4 plants and where, from next spring, a further development of our pipeline with 5 new plants is planned. These are biogas plants in different regions of the country that treat livestock waste, agro-industrial waste and agricultural by-products: a great opportunity for farms to self-feed and produce clean energy, reducing CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
Marco Mazzero, Chief Executive Officer of IES Biogas says: “We are expanding our horizons abroad. 2020 was an important year for our expansion in Europe and South East Asia, but in the last five years we have built and are building in 12 different countries around the world – in Italy, Croatia, Serbia, France, Argentina, Philippines, South Korea, China, Greece – and aiming to consolidate our presence in India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands”.
