Marco Mazzero
Born on 14 July 1976, he graduated in 2002 in Agricultural Economics and Management from the University of Udine. He began to devote himself to the world of biogas through some collaborations with German companies, where the sector was already well established.
In 2008 he bet on Italy, founding IES Biogas, of which he is CEO and which today is part of the Snam Group, leader in gas infrastructure in Italy and Europe. He is the co-owner of some farms which are an example of how agriculture and green energy can be reconciled effectively in a circular economy. >
He is a member of Company Advisory Board dell’European Biogas Association (EBA).
